I was hopeing to at least achieve a fsb of 1000mhz, on a 2.6c overclock. right now i am stuck at 233, i have tried rasing the vcore to 1.625, and the vdimm to 2.8. Also the ram is ocz pc 4000 gold edition, i am running at set my spd. i hope this isn't my limit already... :(

what stepping 2.6C u got the d1 or m0 stepping? That can make a big difference in weither u can get a 250 FSb or not. M0 seems to be a better stepping from what ive heard around here. There r some good d1s out there, but i dunno if u got one.

Oh sure, now you're gonna make me go pull my heatsink off, remove the thermal paste, and check on MY chip :)

could it be the 1 gig of dual channel ram by ocz, it is pc 4000 gold edition... i am running 2, 3, 3, 7 at 200mhzfsb. when I try and overclock i of course relax those timings to 3, 5, 5, 8 andi have tried memory dividers.

wouldnt hurt to try to relax the memory timings a bit. Also do u have the stock HSF on ur cpu or is it an aftermarket one, if so which one u got?

i ahve the same problem.... i have a 2.6c, abit is7e, and 1 gb of mushkin black level 2 pc3500, i have a zalman 7000 alcu, i cant get it stable above 3.06 ghz, and i have the timings as loose as they go, with voltage at 2.8. is it just the processor?

maybe its just my system but i have no problem ocing my fsb to 230 on my 2.4c at 3v's on the ram with 2-2-2-5
