I just installed an Arctic Silver Silencer on my 6800GS and these are my idle temps

wow that's a big screenshot.

Did you put arctic silver or some other thermal compound on it before you installed it? it looks like it may not be making good contact with the heatsink.

edit: Nice name by the way. I love that movie.

Remove, clean thoroughly and re-apply/re-install.

Its not making contact, reapply.

I realized that the metal bracket thing on the back was on backwards so I turned it around and now it's idleing at around 35 degrees
