I just came across an nvidia card in the box for the card that is currently in my pc. There are several barcodes on the top, fan, and bottom of the card. The ports say Foxconn so I know that much and there is a boxx that says "NVIDIA Corporation Model: P455" but I cant seem to find anything on this card w/just that. Is there any other way that I can ID this thing w/o plugging it in? I'm just curious if it's worth 5 bucks or, if I'm lucky, maybe 10 :p.

Thanks in advance!

might have better luck with a photo...

the all mighty google says "nvidia p455" = NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500

probably produced by PNY

/edit its a 7900gs based card with 128mb of ram...

its a good paper weight

I think I was able to play command and conquer red alert on this bad boy! :D ...really though, I can't remember worth a damn. Pretty sure this was the original from my build yeeears ago. I will give the barcodes a shot. Thanks guys.

It's a decent backup card for when your main card dies or you need a recovery card when you brick your other one's bios. I just used my 7900 to recover a bricked 6950.

hmm will physx run on 7k series cards??? might be good for that

hard to say, look up the numbers on the ram chips, it should give you a chip capacity, multiply by the number of chips to get your total ram count, as for the core its self, only way to know for sure would be to plug it in, or take off the hsf, the core die WILL have the exact markings on it...
