Well im building myself a new pc as my old celeron crapped out on me a few nights ago.

Athlon 64 3200+
2x512mb Corsair Value select dual channel pc3200 ram
abit av8 k8t800 mobo
seagate 200gb 7200 rpm sata hdd
blahblah dvd burner, and whatnot

but my big decision is my video card

i was looking at the Sapphire Radeon 9800 Atlantis Pro
or the Sapphire Radeon 9600xt


which of these 2 cards would perform better with my build, this is just a general use pc mostly for gaming.

if its used mainly for gaming why not get a cheaper cpu, 2x256mb memory, and get an x800 pro? many benches have shown 512mb memory to be absolutely fine for games.
