Hi,I just cant decide.
Buy E6300+Gigabyte P965 DS3
or E6400+Gigabyte P965 DS3
or E6400+Asus P5B deluxe.

I like E6300+gigabyte.What DDr should I buy.Would be Patriot 2GB DDr2 667 enough??

Also I never overclocked would be someone willing to tell me step by step how to overclock??
Please??

imo, the p5b dlx is the best board out there...

for the memory.. if you want to overclock, consider some pc6400...

or

should perform very nicely

for overclocking memory, see my sig
for oc'ing the intel itself, this guide should be a good rough start.

overclocking is really as complex as you make it. if you try to overthnk and overanalyze, you're bound to run into problems ;)

Those are some pricey suggestions (cf)Eclipse. He could get the Patriot PC2-5300 set and a DS3 and save a ton of money.

That gets my vote. Good luck!

yeah, they are a touch on the more expensive side... but if you can justify a p5b dlx to begin with... :p ds3 would be wiser, all the bells and whistles of the p5b dlx are probably not needed, not the ability to break 500mhz fsb without vmods.. :D

the reason i recommended pc6400 is mainly because it makes it easier to overclock.. those two often do >500mhz at 4-4-3 timings... though good pc5300 sticks should be able to break 400mhz easy with some tuning..
i presume these are the patriot in question?
