hello friends. im relly stuck you see im about to buy a slave graphic card but i only have 1 slot for graphic cards in my laptop. the seller said i can flash it to make it a master card. so like will my laptop recognize the card if its a slave or master? or it doesnt work on 1 slot motherboards. the video card is a ati radeon 3870 slave

tahnk you for helping

Your post is very confusing.
1st. There is no such thing as a master or slave card. If your motherboard has onboard video, you can turn off the onboard video in your bios but for the post part, whatever monitor you plug into the card is the one that will display video to the monitor.

2nd. You cant put a desktop graphics card into a laptop. It is very rare to have a laptop that is upgradable. It is ever rarer to find a compatible card IF your laptop has the correct slot.

lol sory man i dont know much about videos cards. well basicly im buyin one off ebay and it says slave card on it. so if i buy it and put it in my machine will it work if my machine is fullycompatible with the slot type? like this salve master thing is also confusing me lol. thanks man.

a link to what you are buying would be helpful.
