Please help, can't install floppy in CM stacker

The stacker has some brackets with it that I assume are for mounting the floppy drive (they are not in the manual), but when I screw them on the drive and put the drive in the case, the drive is not in-line with the mesh cover for the front of the case. I know that you can install the floppy with a 3 in 4 device module, but I don't want to remove the fan.

Has anyone got this to work with those brackets? Do I need to buy another 3 in 4 module?
