I just put my computer together with a raptor 10000 rpm 8mb cache sata hdd, and when I go to install windows it says it can't find the harddrive, everything is plugged in right, cords, power etc. but it just wont work, is there anything I have to do in bios or anything at all. Thanks.

you probably need to hit f6 when asked if you need to install 3rd party drivers and you will need to have the sata drivers on a floppy hit s on keyboard and enter with disk in drive if your installing xp

^ that and you need to review the BIOS setting to make the SATA the boot drive, and those very quite a bit from one manufacturer to another, I'll try to find out what exactly that is later today, right now I have to go to court

a traffic cop accused my dog of obstructing my view
