Have a look into this thread and add your voice of whether Longhorn should be able to install drivers from any other media then floppy during the install phase.

I dont like floppys... I don't have a floppy drive, never have.... Even when I was ten I didn't... It needs to be phased out more..

in reality, i use my floppy for two things: flashing the bios on my dfi, and memtesting on my k8n neo

I keep a pile of old floppy drives around just so I can smash them with a hammer when I am bored.
