PS: there's no scalping going on here. I didn't buy the unit with intention to "scalp". I checked the prices on ebay and looks like I'm right on target with my price.

If you are selling it for more than MSRP, yes, it is scalping. Just because the rest of the market is doing it/supporting it doesn't make it any less so than scalping.
