1 x Geforce 7800 GT [got that already, will upgrade when DX10 comes out]

Is that looking good? any oversights?

I'd ditch the dominators and go for something with more reasonable price tag.

What size monitor do you have? Why the 680i SLI board?

ok. how about: OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 for the RAM.

I've got a dual-monitor setup. 2x Samsung Syncmaster 204b

The reason why i have chosen an SLi board is that at i want to connect my PC to both monitors + my HDTV at some point in the future. So if I'm gonna have 2 graphics cards in my PC i might as well have them work together (does that make sense?)

Regarding the Ultra-120, I'm finding it difficult to find somewhere that has it in stock in the UK... any other recommandations?

No need for DDR2-1066 with an E6600:
9 * 266 = 2.4Ghz, 2 * 266 = DDR2-533 << stock
9 * 400 = 3.6Ghz, 2 * 400 = DDR2-800 << typical max OC on good air

As you can see, there is no need for DDR2-1066. Furthermore, Intel platforms perform best when the CPU and RAM are linked. In other words, running the RAM at a higher speed than the CPU is useless.

SLI only supports a single monitor, and a 20" monitor doesnt need SLI. When you're not gaming, you could use the two cards seperately, one on each monitor, but when you want to game in SLI mode, the other monitor will be off. You really only need one good card, like the GTS or GTX, and a regular card for the other monitor (8500GT for H.264 decoding). Pickup a board with two PCI-E x16 slots, like the MSI P6N SLI-FI, since you really don't need the expensive 680i chipset.
