how would i get my ps2 system to display on my computer lcd monitor. its a dell 1800 fp ultrasharp using a digital connection to my radeon 9600 pro. Thanks

1 possible way is to get a tv card that has the A/V jacks (red, white, yellow) connectors.

besides getting a tv card, what else could i use...i know its possible i just don't know what to look for at circuit city.

You can get a playstation 2 to vga adapter. I don't know if circuit city will have that though. I don't think it's really a high demand item.

The VGA adapters arent really all that great. They tend to make the image really blurry, at least in my experience.

I have a TV card too that I used and I found it to be much better than the VGA adapters, although still not as good as a TV. Even the TV cards blur the image, but it is cool to be able to play in a window on your desktop so you can do 2 things at once...another advantage over the VGA adapter.

Yeah I just use my tv tuner card for my dreamcast. A disadvantage that the tv tuner card has over the vga adapter is that the computer has to be on in order to play the games. Though my computer is always on so that isn't much of a problem for me.

You should be able to pick up a Composite-to-S-video connector (assuming you have an s-video port on your LCD). This is probably the easiest way to go.

and that's how I hooked up my PS2, but only to see if it would worked since I have a TV in my room...

Unfortunately, the 1800FPs don't have an s-video part, or else I'd be running my Xbox off mine right now. Add another vote to the TV Tuner card. I ran my Xbox connected to a 9000 AIW and it worked ok.
