plastic front case modding

i have a sn41 gv2 and a front sb83 front case :D so the sb83 front panel fits onto the sn41 chasis the only problems is the sn41 has 3 audio ports at the front and the sb83 only has 2 audio ports at the front tehrefore the sb83 obviously does not line up with the existing sn41 front case ports.

so since it has a bottom stealth cover anyway i am going to mod the bottom part by cutting away the whole of the bottom part to leave a wider whole like a empty drive bay or something

any suggestions how do i do this? i intend to drill a few holes then i will hack saw it but im confused to as how am i going to get a smooth finsh after ??????????
 
most people around here use a dremel for case modding... it's a great little tool for cutting/shaping plastic and thin metals

if you don't have a dremel, i would at least suggest buying a metal file... after you drill/hacksaw the hole, using a file will allow you to get it fairly smooth... then you finish up with sand paper
