Plasma TV Pixel Noise?

Just got a Panasonic P42S2 and noticed that when sitting close (like too close for comfort), there is greenish dots or "pixel noise" especially on the blacks/shadows. Noticed that changing the image setting from "Standard" to anything else pretty much removes them. "Standard" also happens to be really dull/dim.

Not sure if this is normal or if I should return the TV. I suppose I should take a picture of said "noise".
 
Perfectly normal.

Head over to the S2 owner's thread to find settings that will both reduce the dancing green pixels, and enhance overall pixel quality.

The S2 isn't the only one that does it btw, the S2 also has a little graininess to it, but most of the time it isn't noticeable with the right settings and more proper seating distances ;)
