Plasma dynamic contrast ratio

You might as well be asking if a vampire could defeat a werewolf in a fight to the death, because both numbers are complete fiction. "Dynamic contrast ratio" is a joke, and so are basically all contrast ratio figures provided by TV manufacturers. I wish I could tell you which TV is better (or at least which has a better *actual* contrast ratio), but I have no idea. My advice is to check AVS to see if anyone has calibrated a 50PZ550 yet. There should already be solid info on the C7000.
 
On a plasma, you only really need to be considering static contrast / black levels, i didn't think plasma even had DCR.
