planning on a small upgrade

only game i play is CS:S ...
Other stuff are just daily internet some office apps etc etc
so this is about my budget atm.

Planning on atleast a 3Ghz OC ..

i am also wondering if the gigabyte mobo will recognize the e5200 out of the box?

the psu selected is 610w and i'd like to leave it like that(or at least in that direction).. i know i could get a 450watt corsair mobo for a lot cheaper and be sufficient.. but i rather get that pc&c to expand a future upgrade..

I think that tells you that it all sounds good. The Gigabyte MB should recognize the chip at least enough to get a BIOS update done if need be - should be no problems for you at all.

and then you're just wasting money

Yea, I made that mistake. Go for the 2 X 2.

The smaller power supply would be fine unless you think you may want to SLI or Crossfire in the future. I went with a Coolermaster 450 on my system.

If you care about noise then the PP&C supply shouldn't be on your list - it's 80mm fan can be really noisy. You could look at a nice Seasonic for quality power and silence.

i picked the pc p&c 610 because one never knows what i would like to do in the future?

maybe i decide on going with a quad next and a bigger power hungry videocard..

so i rather play it save this time...
