Planning another ITX build

Here's the challenge: Get the most performance from the smallest package, on a budget. I already have my gaming machine, so this will be somewhat of a project rig.

That's basically it right now. BUT, what I really want to utilize in this build, is the extra PCI slot on the M300 case. and my X-Fi Titanium. The problem is the heatsink height of the 905e, which I'm not sure of, so I may need to invest in an extremely short heatsink as well. Also, I'm having a lot of trouble finding the appropriate flex riser for the PCIeX1 slot so that I can mount the X-Fi Titanium sideways.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a heatsink that would fit in the M300, potentially underneath the X-Fi Titanium sound card, and also a good cheap flex cable? The only one I've found is about $50

They also have some low profile coolers. These AMD stock coolers tend to be tall. I think you are looking anything under 2U.
I have got this cooler http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=278 but in a bigger case Sugo 02.

Thanks for the suggestions. That riser card is a lot cheaper at the site you linked, but do you know if they ship to the US?

The riser cards are made by Ably-Tech http://www.ably.com.tw/main.htm. They have USA distributor Ameri-Rack http://www.ameri-rack.com/. You might want to ask them about availability.

I found a good riser in Ameri-Rack, and i think I'm going to nab it.

As for a heatsink, I found this on Newegg. Looks like it will be perfect. Works with 65w AM2 processors and is about 3.7 CM tall.

Nice find on that heatsink Jamesman32...might have a use for that myself.

If you're on a budget, wouldn't hurt to wait until Wednesday to make your purchases from the Egg. They're ramping up their Bing rebates to 10%.

Back of the napkin math from looking at your list...$50.

Performance PC's also carries quite a few low profile cpu coolers.
