Pipes unlocked... and benchmarks.

Well my system is in my sig an here are all the benchmarks I got.. The clock rate I started with is the one I just stayed at 380/800 so I by no means pushed the clock rate to its max limitations.

3DMark05:

Stock Clock - 3309

380/800 Clock - 3794

Stock Clock with 16 pipes - 3710

380/800 with 16 pipes - 4243


Ive ran the 3dmark05 demo and benchmarks over and over and also played some Doom 3 with no problem! I did wonder how riva tuner does this.. becuase I plan on doing a relaod soon and need to know if I need to reload rivatuner to go back and change the settings to all 16 pipes again. But wow at the difference. Does anyone know what a GT and Ultra score out of the box on 3dmark05 with a rig like mine?

if you do reload then you will need to reload rivatuner and unlock the pipes agen a gt will get like 4500 or so

Can you post your after OC and after pipes unlocked 3D03 score? I got 10050.

3dmark03 I got 10,444 with the pipes unlocked and overclocked 380/800. What card are you running? and is it over clocked or unlocked?

Went ahead and maxed out the video card... hit 400/850 and I thought I might have seen some artifacting once or twice but wasnt totally sure.. here are my numbers

400/850 16 pipes - 4,443 3dmark05

400/850 16 pipes - 51,506 Aquamark3

380/800 16 pipes - 50,800 Aquamark3


I went ahead and backed it down to 380/800 to keep it at. Not sure if I can end up with any damage as a result of to high of an oc.. temps reached 60C under load with Artic Silencer NV5 on it.
