Pink screen on boot up?

Occasionally when I reboot, I log into my XP account and the whole screen turns pink. I checked my event viewer and it seems to be related to my nvidia drivers. Could this be a result of a bad CPU oc though? I've done the whole process of cleaning drivers and it still happens occasionally. It has yet to happen though with my CPU at stock.
 
PMSOD - Pink Message Screen of Death. It means your computer is female and you made it mad at a bad time.

Honestly though, never seen a pink screen!

The norm would be to run some Orthos, OCC, etc.. to make sure its fully stable. If that isn't it, try the same FSB you are at now but with a lower CPU multiplier and see if it persists. Maybe the board is flaking out because of the high FSB?
 
The only time I have seen a PSOD is when I have gone mad with video card overclocks or too high of a PCIe bus.....I run my PCIe at 115 normally..Ive had it at 120, but that's usually when the trouble begins..:)
 
Yeah, I have to agree - I think the PCI-E bus might be your problem. Make sure it's locked at 100 when you OC - I've only seen PSODs come from videocard issues. Running the PCI-E bus past its rated limit can cause all kinds of problems you don't want.
 
I think your computer has contracted the gay virus.

In all seriousness it does sound like a video card issue, perhaps video memory.
 
When my PCI buses are out of spec my LAN usually goes first, then the sound has pops, then the hard drive corrupts, THEN I start getting video problems (as I go higher and higher). Maybe your video card is just really touchy? 485 FSB is a lot though, sometimes boards just get screwy at high FSBs :( They aren't all made equal.
 
Like everyone else here says, sounds like the PCIe bus is running too hot, lock it before you OC and stress test.
