Pimp My Case

I decided to repaint an old case for my parents. It look pretty bad when I first started but after some work sanding and a few tricks it looks really great.

My parenst totally love it, and it saved a few bucks from buying a new case.

The paint and sandpaper cost a good $20. I would suggest it to anyone for building a compter for family members.

Does the tin zig-zaggy thing on the left serve any particular purpose? or is it acheive maximum case sexyness?
