I'm not sure what the problem on my older pc is, but here are the specs:
Athlon XP-M 2400+ (209x9.5= ~2.0ghz)
1GB of corsair xms DDR 400 ram
Stock 350 watt generic PSU
Built by Ati 9800 pro @ stock
viewsonic 19 inch monitor
I use an S-video cable to run the tv out to my tv when I watch movies and turn off my monitor. When i finish watching the movie, and turn on my monitor, it doesn't show any picture, yet the tv still has picture. I extend the desktop to my tv as well, so i didnt use the TV as my primary display device. What could be the problem? how come there isnt any picture on my monitor whenever I use tv out? I've tried various things, but I think it might be a driver issue.
I only lose the picture on the monitor when I actually turn off the monitor, but when i leave it on, the pictures stays on the monitor.
