Picking the right case

I am going to be using my computer for web designing. Can anyone help me choose the right case? I have looked at a lot of cases and I do not know which one to choose. I do not have a big budget and I am hoping to spend around $50. Honestly I do not know exactly what to look for in the case.

Tall order there....

Ok, rather then just spat out the current good cheap case (Antec 300 and Cooler Master RC-690) I'll tell yea what you need to look for.

1. Size matters, unless you are really constrained for space on or around your desk. Get something you can get your hands in without risking breaking something.

2. Airflow, You should look for a case with at lest 1x 120mm intake and 1x 120mm fan out. While more fans are often nice, unless you want to shell out the money for a lot of fans or more for nice and quiet ones that is all you will need. For example. My case cost me 50 bucks (RC-690) and I've spent over 90 in fans for the case because I want high quality fans.

3. Power supply placement. This is more of a recommondation then requirement. Look for a case with a power supply on the bottem.

4. Buy your own power supply. The cases that come with them rearly come with one worth using.

5. Last, but should be first.... You get what you pay for.

Just remember when picking the case, you have to look and listen to this thing for a while, make sure you get something you like.

I just bought one today. Yes they are quiet. The system ended up being quieter than my old Koolance water cooled case.

If you buy one you might get lucky like I did. I opened the box and there was a note at the top saying that an early run had a problem with the 120mm fan running properly at the low speed setting so they were including an extra fan at no charge. The cool thing is that both of the fans worked properly so I got an extra $15 fan for free.
