Pick the Best 9800 Pro!

Im so confused. I don't know wich 9800pro to choose. I want one with 128mb and 256 bit and somthing that I can overclock a lot. The MSI atiRX9800Pro looked apealing beacause of the massive heatsink covering the core and the memory but once again im unsure.

I saw a review that was linked from [H]ard that said the MSI was a badass overclocker. I'd go with that unless you all about saving a buck, then i'd get that Sapphire 9800 128mb pro oem. Both good cards.

You may think I'm crazy but those caps on the MSI look cheap. Remember that cap fiasco a while back? I wouldn't risk it.

Sounds nice, but did u have to buy a new fan and ramsinks or did you clock it to XT speeds on stock cooling?

Mine runs slightly beyond XT speeds with the stock hs/f.

wow is your cpu stable with that low voltage? I've never seen anyone get 2.4 with and come even remotely close to that voltage.

I recommend the Sapphire 9800 Pro.

If you happen to get the R360 core you can turn it into a 9800XT.

Very quiet and good at cooling. Just be careful pulling pegs of stock fan through the circuit board on the card.
