A radeon 9600(non pro,xt) or a 6200 stock(he wont unlock the pipes), I have both and wanted to give a buddy one for an upgrade, doesnt matter to me I have a 6800GT. I just thought I'd help him out.
 
The 9600 will offer better performance in his games, if he games. If it's just for general office stuff, give him the 6200.
 
I had a 9600 for a good while and it was a great stable card, so I say the 9600..
