Basically i want to get a 3rd monitor and need a 2nd GPU to run it, so instead of just using it to run a monitor i might as well get one that can do physx.

well im considering the GTS250, and while i think its good enough to max every game with physx out right now, im not sure if my PSU can handle a 4870x2 and GTS250.

Should be plenty.

My old rig - Q6600 at 3.84Ghz was running with a 4850 and a GTS250 with a "lowly" Antec 650w PS and I wouldn't hesitate to try a 4870x2 with a GTS250 in it.

I thought you couldn't use nVidia card for physx when your main card(s) are ATI?

NM I just caught up on the main thread. This is interesting and I will have to try it.
