In a typical SLI setup, which card does Physx?

In nvidia control panel you can choose a dedicated card for Physx.

If I recall correctly, the load is split between the two cards in much the same way a regular graphics load would be for an SLI setup.

You can set it up however you want, distributed, only on one card, etc.

I thought nvidia specifically states that you cannot run physx on one card and games on the other card if you have two identical cards (ie two 670's).

^^^ The nvidia control panel is clear, it allows me to choose the second card for dedicated physx, even with two identical cards....

Yeah. It seems you can choose which card to use even with SLI, but I am not sure there is any benefit to doing this (over leaving it on auto).

i leave mine out auto most of the time . with sli 670 , i dont notice a difference auto or non.
