Physx 8.07.18

then i suppose time will tell

i mean what other pci slot card can compete against a pci physx card but the 8500gt, its only a matter of time before someone tests it out and compares it

Kumquatsrus, thanks for the thoughts...so perhaps we are in the age of watercooled ppu's now, huh? Heh, my old 8800 ultra already has a water block, might as well use it...not sure where I put that stock fan...

So would, say, an old 8800 ultra run physx better than a 8500gt...I mean as a dedicated physx second card..The question is...does physx demand enough processing power to justify keeping the old 8800 ultra in my case with all its size and heat and power consumption when a cute little 8500gt can be had for the cheepz?

True, considering the circuit city by me is blowing out the 8500GT for $14.97, maybe I'll run by this weekend and pick one up. Test it with my G92 GTS and 9800 GX2 to see if it makes a difference.
