I have a Crucial C300 128gb SSD that I am moving from my laptop to my gaming computer. My case is the original Antec 902. I was looking at the drive cages and the holes on the ssd do not line up with the holes that are used for installing a regular hard drive.

Do I need to buy one of those SSD bracket adapters? If so, any that you all would recommend from newegg (I usually buy everything from there)? Or is there any other way I can do this?
 
I just fastened mine in with a piece of sticky-back velcro. No moving parts, so no reason to go crazy.

See that's what I was wondering. With no moving parts, couldn't I even just lay it down on the bottom of the drive cage? Would that harm the drive at all? I mean, I don't move my computer case at all, so, would even that work?
 
I found some sticky-back velcro around the house (left over from a turnpike EZ Pass LOL), I am good to go, thank you for the idea.
 
Did u check the bottom of the drive holder? Usually they have 4 screw points that match 2.5" drives.
 
Velcro is probably the easiest option and works great :)

There's no real reason why an SSD (or an HDD for that matter) needs to be secured into a cage if the case is never going to be moved around, so you can definitely run either just sitting on the floor of your case.

My SSD is just sitting on the bottom of my case (well, the middle shelf since it's a BTX Lian Li) in an antistatic bag. However, I would not put an HDD there, because it spins, so it would move, and it heats up, so it would be bad for its health.
