I have a question, I am starting to get into website design and I was wondering what book do you feel is helpful to learn Php and Mysq. I have basic knowledge in CSS, Html, and Xhtml but a I'm missing a fair amount of business by not know php, so what would you recommend. Thanks for the help.:)
 
Everyone learns differently, so the best book for you is really a personal decision. I think your best bet is to go to a good bookstore and browse the PHP books -- and pick out one you like.
 
PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Websites Visual Quickpro Guide Second Edition by Larry Ullman

They are probably on the third edition by now, but that is a great book. I would highly suggest it.
