Hey all. I started a blog back in the day with my website... and well... I started blogging more and more... even though it's hard for me to keep up. Take a peek and let me know what you think, can change, stuffs like that.

Where is "Investment" supposed to go to?

You are posting a lot of images per post on the main page. Would it make sense to have a "Click for more" or similar link after 2 or 3 pictures? Or a link to view more in a separate gallery?

I would simply recommend getting an applet to rotate the image at the top of your page on a few second interval. You want every opportunity to share as much of you work as you can to people visiting your page.

I would also recommend only posting the absolute best of the best that you have on the site. Keep in mind that the average time spent on a page (especially waiting on a page to load) is what, 2 seconds? I forget the exact metric, but something like that. With that in mind, especially in photography, a lot of the time less is more.

MN Scouts idea I think also fits hand-in-hand with this. If people want to see more of a shoot (even if it is just personal involving kids, family etc.,) then that works, but the index page is so long with so many images, I'll even admit for myself that I glossed over a majority of them. The front page you want all of your really eye-grabby stuff.

I do like the minimalist design, I'm not a fan of the yellow as the highlight color or the background pattern, but I like the layout of the site itself. I would recommend using a brighter color for the highlight color. If you want it to stay yellow, I'd recommend going with a brighter, sun-shiny type yellow with of course a darker color contrasted font. The background I would personally just go with a solid color like white, but that's personal preference.

I think your photography website is great, it really showcases your work well. I'm not a fan of flash (I do believe it's on it's way out) or the music (not because it's Adele, but mostly because I listen to my own stuff while browwing and any music on any website is distracting,) but the presentation is wonderful.

Keep in mind, these are criticisms, feel free to take them with a grain of salt. Lord knows my website is terrible and needs a workover.
