A relative of mine recently asked for my advice on purchasing a decent quality color printer to be used to print out photographs from her digital camera. I've really no idea what to look for, so I'm looking for some general advice on what makes a printer good and what makes it bad in regards to decent to high quality photograph printing. Any help is welcomed, thanks in advance.

EDIT: She's looking to spend less than $200 if possible.
