In the recent months, I have done a few jobs at different dental offices. All these offices have gone digital. Meaning all patient files, X-Rays, and etc are stored on a server. That info is pulled up on different workstations and at times printed to hard copy via a good photo printer. These images are used to send to other doctors, give to the patients, send to insurance companies, and etc
Now these printers are accessed and used by up to twenty computers. A few offices only have one or two computers attached to a x-ray printer. Never the less, these things get used and used a lot! On average an office will go though maybe thirty sheets a day. Larger offices use more.
I am really happy with the quality of the prints that I am getting right now. I am looking at how I can Improve the quality overall and how to lower my ink usage.
Since, these printouts are medical grade x-rays of patients teeth. They need to be extremely clear, have a very very nice crisp look, and show many different levels of black/gray/white.
Recently I have used these printors for a few different offices
HP Photosmart C5180
HP Photosmart D7360
These have done a really good job so far. They have been able to handle the large work loads and etc. Though, I am looking for:
-faster prints
-better quality prints
-less ink use
Sadly, I dont have any really good pictures of what to show you when I say a printed out x-ray. Here is the only one that I have at the moment;
Can you guys suggest a really nice, fast, and low ink using printor?
Thank You!
(if you need any more info, please ask and I will fill in as much as I can)
