Phillips had a wireless HDMI setup on display at CES in its infancy.

The system passes uncompressed HDMI signals, thereby eliminating the worry of artifacts that could degrade image quality by compression. It operates in the 3GHz-4.4GHz range, so it doesn't interfere with either WiFi or most cordless telephones.

now that will be sweet, i wonder how long until vid cards or mobo's have direct wireless HDMI ports, along with TV.s

Wil tv be able to purchase an adapter to make the tv wireless HDMI, cause that would be a dream for HTPC owners.
 
it will be decades if ever before they release something like this. Technology like this that people find useful gets dropped pretty quick. I never get excited over a product until they say its green lighted and production has begun.
