phenom ll 550 stock hs

This is probably a stupid question I know the answer to already, but I have that cpu coming with the stock hs. I have never used stock coolers but is this one any good I think it has heat pipes. Its either I use this one or have to wait to complete my build until I can get a better cooler. I wondered if lapping it and putting a bigger fan on it would leave any kind of room to overclock. I'm assuming it won't but I don't know much about this hs.


If not on a budget I have a hyper tx3 available at microcenter for $20 i beleive.
