This may be an existing topic, but search is broken.

I am looking for a good in-depth resource on building a vapor phase cooling unit for my PC. The information can be universal, not just PC specific. I'm simply trying to build my knowledge up before attempting it on my own.

I'm mainly doing this due to the fact that I have much more control over the finished product by building it, and pre-built solutions are far too expensive for me at the current time.

Any help anyone can provide will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

www.xtremesystems.org/forums :D down rite now tho at least for me.... and I wouldnt recommend building your own phase change.... if you have the money you might be able to buy a cascade (better than phase change) from them or Id just see which one turns out to be better the nventiv mach II GT or asetek vapochill ls as they were both recently released and reviews should be out soon.

Systems by Prometia and Vapochill are WAY out of my budget. Even if I could afford them, I still would rather build my own system.

Mostly for the same reason I prefer to cut my own windows, etc.

A cascade IS phasechange. Its using one setup to cool another to get better temps. Its hard expensive and dangerous tho. Home made phasechange is alot of work. MY chiller is gona cost a total of around 150 dollars BUT I'm looking at 300 or so in tools. I've been reading for around 9 months now as well. Just read up at different message boards and stuff. wc101 has a water chiller guide. Also, go to phase-change.com theres alot of good stuff there.
