Phanteks Enthoo Pro - Thoughts/Mini "Review"

In a word, disappointment. I needed a new case after getting an 7900XTX because the model I got was too large (barely and only due to the slanted edge ) for my venerable Rosewill Thor. The Enthoo Pro barely met my requirements without costing too much.

Pros:
Three 5.25" bays.
Decent number of fan mounting points.
Simple, clean, box with a flat top.
HDD cages simple to remove.
Screws in segmented plastic container.

Cons:
No 3" trays for any of the external bays.
HDD Cages are designed to be all or none, the bottom cage is secured by two thumbscrews and it's a bit wobbly without the top cage.
Full GPU space is height limited and requires removal of one or both HDD cages.
Internal space felt cramped and inefficient. Limited cable routing options.
No front USB2 ports, I knew before buying but it's still disappointing because there's enough space for them
No side panel fan.
Barely enough space for to run cables to 2.5" SSDs on side mounts.
Shipping box and packing poor. There's no internal box and the bare minimum of styrofoam is used as padding.
No tool-less install for 5.25" bays.
Not enough screws for HDDs.
HDD trays are poor quality.

Neutral:
Offensively bright power button and HDD access lights.
Front USB, audio, and reset are under a panel on the front of the case.
Fan controller included but needs MB fan header.
Affixed cable ties.
Only up to 200mm fan mounts.

Edit: Nov. 22, 25. Added finished picture and additional point to neutral.

They must have cheaped out because I have one that is 5 or so years old with a giant eatx board, modding required sadly, but that's my only grip. Heck mine has 3inch mounting for external bays and still have the box of misc screws.

never heard of those, what are they?
I'm assuming he means the classic adapters for mounting 3.5" external devices in a 5.25" bay, but designed with the case aesthetic in mind.

Phanteks has cheapened their offerings in recent years. My Enthoo Luxe2 (rebranded to 719 after a lawsuit by TT) that I bought at launch came with almost everything, as in nearly all the available accessories, mounts, conversion plates, etc. Now the case is shipped missing most of that, and you can't even buy the parts separately, anymore.

ohhhh 3.5" bays... yeah, those and 5.25 are getting to be few and far between.

An adapter to convert it for use with a 3.5" peripheral like a card reader. It would've been a nice inclusion along with a suitable faceplate but as it is I pulled my old adapter and will deal with the gaps.
