Looks much more effective than the old 24-pin spliced cable trick to power on 2x PSUs together as it apparently feeds power from both PSUs to all the cables - if one PSU fails it doesn't kill power to the motherboard.

I wonder what the benefits are to this vs the Add2PSU that Hardocp already reviewed before:

That one has no redundancy. When the primary fails, the secondary is going to shut off on that one. Phantek's will switch over to the working one if it works the way their advertising is saying. Hope [H]ardOCP reviews this since this would be a great cheap alternative for dual power supply builds for server environments.
Now I just hope they have one for the sata power connectors and the GPU power connectors.
