pfsense captive portal

Hey Guys
I am currently working with pfsense 1.2.3 with there captive portal and I am looking to make a custom portal with my business image and username/password login. I also want this hotspot/captive portal be paid. I need to know how to put paypal pay now buttons onto this captive portal. Once customer clicks on the buy now button they will be redirected to paypal to pay for the time then I want the customer be redirected back to the portal can this be done?

Sounds like some custom scripting is required... you need to use the PayPal SDK to let your pfSense box know that the customer paid and for how much time. Then, is it the amount of time from the time of payment (i.e. you have 24 hours, whether you use it or not, time is ticking) or is the amount of actual usage (say, if you log off, then you don't use up your 24 hours). Then, once time runs out, your pfSense box needs to update its MAC address list (or however you're keeping track of your customers) and disallow entry (or, like you said, per username/password).

Either way... you'll need to customize this quite a bit... I'd say, go find something like this that already exists. I'm sure there are software packages that do this.

You should wait for the next version of pfsense to be finished because the captive portal got a lot of changes and I believe better voucher support is being added.
