Who's going this year?

I'll be there early for the boot camps along with a handful of other people I work with. Should be fun.

If anyone wants to meet up for drinks, speak up. I've met a couple of you in person and it would be interesting to put a few more faces to the names.
 
Dunno - submitted my VMworld presos to it, but they may not let me go to VMworld AND PEX :p
 
I'm tentative right now..i'll find out for sure Tuesday. I have to give presentations for some customers at our own event in Feb on Nexus 1kv and vCops so i'm not quite sure yet. Personally, i'd rather attend VMworld.
 
I'm going to ask my boss to go on the justification of the VCDX bootcamp. I'm sure that email will go straight to the junk pile.

Those that want to meet up send me a PM with your name and email and I'll start a chain. I'm sure we'll all have other obligations while there but maybe we can aim for an hour or two on a night to meet up and put back a few.
 
Well..my schedule just got paved over. Now in a 4-day advanced vCOPs custom dashboard and vCAC course. Moving my flight from Sunday to Saturday.
 
Just got the email an hour ago that Content Builder was open, go to sign up for the VCDX boot camp, and it's already full! :(

Can we slip into these free boot camps even if they're full?
 
You can try..and keep checking to see if someone dropped out.

The scheduler was open for a good week before they sent that email out.
 
Me too...i'm thinkin I may be a bit delayed from the weather though. Oh well, more time to get some beers...:)

I saw you on the escalators just before the first boot camps started today.

Was worried I wouldn't get into the VCDX boot camp but it was no problem at all. Apparently there were a lot of no shows.
 
Glad you got in. I got to my class and they didn't have me enrolled. They finally let me in when they had an open seat but I wasn't going to be happy flying out here early for this and then get denied.
 
Gonna hit Public House in the Luxor in just a bit to grab a drink before dinner.
 
Well..scored some nice Alienware headphones at the Dell Partner Appreciation Party...really nice views from the MiX Lounge.

Had a great Advanced EUC session and hit the show floor. I have to say that Nexenta really impressed me and I'm going to hit them up again. Pretty cool ZFS solution.

You around in the morning since we never got a chance to talk? Today was WAY busier than I expected.... I fly out early afternoon and probably won't hit any sessions tomorrow.

The good news is that I ended up $625 ahead at the blackjack table. :) Will pay for the Parrot Ziks headphones I bought on the way out here.
 
And Stripsteak is great. Ate there Saturday night...we almost ate there again tonight but had 7 of us... Went to Rice and ate a ton of sushi. I recommend the ghost pepper roll.
 
I'm having breakfast there at 7:45 to 8:30 or so... If you want to sleep in (and I would!) I can meet you back there at 10 and have some coffee. That way I won't be tempted to go to a session.
