What happened to this company? I used to order from them all the time. I just went to their site to order a dozen or so BARE LEDs totalling less than $10. I just went through the checkout and they want $27.70 for Priority Mail and $16.63 for Ground.

WTF??????

I have to pay taxes on top of that.

Sometimes they save previous items in your cart, so make sure only the LEDs are in the cart.

Just paid over $12 in shipping for them to send my package about 180 miles (Palm City to Miami) via USPS. I ordered 7 fans, and one small cable.

Seems about right if they use a Medium Flat Rate Box?

From USPS that would cost like a $1, UPS probably $7-8. At those prices they are definitely profiting from shipping cost.

Lolol, $1..

The rates Performance-PCS have are what you pay for the USPS. I used to have to deal with the USPS all the time, so I know the rates pretty well for shipping to and from USVI. That's without insurance usually.

UPS, well, I have no clue about that.

Not sure why you've got such a high price for some LEDs.

WorldExclusive was right, there was something else in my cart from a previous "window shopping" that was causing the inflated shipping costs.

Regardless of your situation, which I'm glad was solved, PPCs has traditionally had the highest shipping cost of anyone I deal with, even when I use USPS.

FrozenCPU comes in second.....always 7-10 bucks and I'm in the same state! They don't discount their USPS shipping much and seem to favor FedEx home.

As far as I can tell, in the boutique market, SidewinderComputers has the cheapest costs.
I would guess it's something to do with location(Indiana is pretty much middle located). I just wish the guy's inventory was more expansive.:D

I just ordered an XSPC Raystrom EX240 kit from them. I only paid $16 shipping, and they substituted a more expensive Swiftech MCP655 pump for the Alphacool unit that was supposed to come with the kit free of charge when the Alphacool unit was out of stock. I'm quite satisfied with the service thus far, and I think $16 is quite reasonable for S/H
