performance looking case

try looking at the raidmax rx-9 or rx9gt or even the ninja they have something of the same style..
 
First, Op... prepare for a world of flaming...

But, on that note, the Raidmax X1 was a wicked case when I had it... All, aluminum front panel with an LCD in the front, etc.

Well for one it's one of the most phallic looking cases out there (personally I think it looks like the underside of a huge nose).

Also, do you have some problem with the word "one"? You're not saving that much time and it looks really stupid.

They're plastic... They look like something straight out of starwars... they sorta scream "I'm a 14 year old kid who thinks my computer is badass" Which, there's nothing wrong with, if you are around that age.

Lots of members on this forum are much older, however, and therefore they prefer less "gaming" oriented cases.
 
i actually like the design of the case, it looks somewhat like an alienware.
and do you have a problem with the way i type? no need to cry about "1" vs "one".
im 16 and im more into the case that catches som1s eye instead of the sleek lookin case, of course the case has to be well built and cooled.
 
I really should add something constructive. As per the OP's request, how about something like the Cooler Master Ammo? It's not overly flashy, but designed to kind of look like an ammo can. Also you could check out any of the clear acrylic cases. They look neat but remember you have nowhere to hide any wires.
 
haha, i either want something that reeks power (tagan black pearl) or something that reaks speed and looks like a race car (asus vento)?
 
Well the Tagan Black Pearl is just a version/copy/ripoff of a Lian Li v2000 or v2100, so you'd be better off getting the Lian Li version.
 
all the cool/nice looking cases are small, i need something Tt armour size.
i cant get lian-li cheaply in UK, tagan i can :)

There isn't much in the way of interesting looking full tower cases outside of what TT makes. That's what I found when I bought my armor at least. But I have to say I've grown to loathe it. It's far too large to fit many places or move very well and far too heavy to want to move in the first place.

If you move your computer around much for lan gaming or anything, do yourself a favor and get a smaller case.
 
i want something beastly and big, or something big and sporty, which the vento is too small.
and im sorry, the ones with big fans look tacky :S

I like the Stacker 830 and the Antec Nine Hundred. I really like the look of the Zalman Fata1ty, but it says "Fata1ty" on it so I could never buy it.

that looks absolutely disgusting!

I am not personally the biggest fan of these cheap-looking 'novelty' cases.

lian-li, coolermaster, antec = all make good cases that make your pc look like a PC, but do so silently and with good cooling (after all that is one of the most important feat of a case after it being solid enough to house all your components in it!)
 
I'll throw in a vote for an Antec P180b. It may not be made completely out of plastic like some of the others in this thread, but that's a good thing. To me, it's a beast, has plenty of room and looks sleek.

I take my TT Armor as my backup gaming rig to all the lans I go to since I got it late 2005. Its clean looking (hardly any bling) and it serves its purpose well.

alienwares are fugly

No one is crying about the way you type, just trying to help you out. Typing like that makes you look retarded and lazy. This is a message board, you have an unlimited amount of time to make a coherent post. It makes reading 100x easier for everyone else.

A sleek case will grab "som1s" eye just as much as the stuff you're looking at. Only difference is with say a lian li people will say "wow that's an expensive looking computer" instead of "wow that looks like a big piece of plastic"

If you want a case that screams "IM FUCKIN FAST!" look no further than the stacker 832. It's not "performance looking" it IS performance.

What water cooling kit do you have? There are plenty of examples here link
You may just see some setups similar to what you have in mind.

If you are talking about the original stacker then yes, it's plenty big enough for WC. Check my worklog. I have a triple rad, 250ml EK res, mc655 pump, all internal.

I've seen internals on the 830s, but I think it's a little harder to pull off. :)
 
yes, i have seen the original stacker with WC, its nice, but the stackers a bit dull IMO.
the tagan black pearl should be enough for triple rad WC and 4 hdd?

so... you want it to look like a Maserati but run like a grimlen? well then if aesthetics is what your looking for you should look into getting a Silverstone TJ-109 or a 110 , My freind has one and I fell in love with it, I myself use a Lian Li , there ok but I like the Silverstones craftsmanship and layout alot better.
