Performance issues? help?

So I just upgraded from a 4800 line to a 6850.

I uninstalled the drivers first, installed the 6850, then installed new drivers.

But now my performance has dropped (noticed placing DCUO). It seems like my computer is chugging at some parts. I go from a framerate of 30 to 20 at times. All that has changed is the video card, installed a new power supply, and fixed a broken rear case fan

Any idea on what might be the problem? It was very smooth with my old card
 
Unless you got rid of the Antec, try using that PSU just to check there isn't some kind of power delivery problem. I'm doubtful but it's something you should still check if you can.
HD6850s use less power than most of the HD4800 cards, so there's no issue using a 400W unit with your new card.
 
Hmm ok. I will try the old power supply when I get home after work and see if it fixes it. I doubt it will, but ya never know.

I guess at the end, I can always try the big old formatting solves everything route
