Right now I have a Antec 420 Watt PSu in my system with +20 amp under 12 volt line.

I got a new antec 550 watt PSU with 30 AMP under 12 volt that i can get quickly. Would i see any type of "better" performance with my 6800 Ultra OC Vid card

I have a P4 3.2 GHZ

2 Gig PC 3200 DDr ram Corsair XMS.

Nice insightful post. Upgrading your PSU will not give any performance increase. However, if you overclock the card, you should have more headroom to go higher, granted if you have good case airflow.

ok its just I knew the 6800 Ultra is a power whore so wasnt sure if i was feeding it enough as it is

My power supply blew, I got a new one, and now I cant over clock as high anymore. Went down 10mhz on core and from 2000 to 1.8 ghz ram. Yes power supply matters, does it matter that much, no.

Thanks mate, you just copied what I said but made it look longer, you should definitely work on Viagra developments.

Well actually, if he overclocks the card higher because of the better PSU. Then yes, he can get better performance :p
