I'm looking at buying a core 2 duo for my laptop, but I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of performance difference there would be between the t7200 (2.0ghz) and the t7400(2.16ghz)

It doesn't seem like there would be a very big difference and being that the 7200 is >$100 cheaper it seems like the smart and economical way to go. Any thoughts?

What kind of laptop? I've never seen a laptop that will take a CPU upgrade, but then again, I'm not a real big fan of them.

dell e1505. I've already got the core duo and it should just be a simple swap since they use the same chipset, or so my research has told me, as well as others.
There are countless people over a notebook forum that have done the core 2 duo swap.
