hey all,

this is my first venture into the case modding forum so yeah :p Earlier this year i bought this I-Cute case cause i thought all the flashy lights and the huge fan at the front were cool, but now im kinda real bored with it. Sure its got great airflow, usually 25C CPU (cause of the side fan) 30C Motherboard and 25C HDD, however the GFX card still averages about 65-70C during long nights of CSing hehe. However it looks too flashy for me, the fans arent the quietest (even though i bought an Antec 120mm for the back) and im looking for something more professional when i build a dual core rig next year. what i was going to ask is, are there any cases that support 1exhuast/1intake 120mm fans, side fan for CPU cooling, fairly quiet and 'pro' looking and $200- mark? i no its a lot to ask, and the Gigabyte Auroura came close, but theres no side intake which would really suit for overclocking the CPU :D thanks in advance people!
 
I've been looking at this case for a while now. It's my favorite color (for those who consider black a color :D), looks professional with its simplicity, its all aluminum, its sub-$200, and should have great airflow. One 80mm fan takes air from the back of the case, blows it through a duct, and toward the HSF on the CPU. There's also another 80mm fan on the top to exhaust hot air that rises to the top, a 120mm fan in the front, and a 120mm blower fan that sucks air out of the case. It's supposed to be above the PCI slots (not in the stock photos), so it may help draw heat away from there.

No side intake though. :(

Perhaps its best to upgrade its fans to Panaflos or something for its low noise, and effectiveness. I plan to do something like that. I've been wondering, for people who have this case, if you could replace all of its fans including the blower fan.
 
A good case with lots of airflow wont need the side fan cpu intake to keep the processor cool. The Antec P180 keeps my processor plenty cool with just the stock cooler and 2 120mm running on the lowest speed. I bet if I were to use all 3 120mm and crank em up all the way I could get some really low temps.
 
well this gigabyte case http://www.giga-byte.com/Peripherals/Products/Products_GZ-FSCA1-ANS(ANB).htm has been receiving very good reviews (i.e http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=2497&s=1) and that it comes with 3x120mm fans that are silent is awesome value IMO. it has a side grill so air can escape so i think it is my perfect case maybe?
 
THIS is a sweet case. Greatly constructed, good airflow, QUIET, and oh so roomy for whatever you wanna put in it. It is very professional looking, you will love it. Worth the extra cash from your original price point.
 
oh damn my bad, i forgot to put the AUD infront of my '$200-" i live in australia and i ment aussie dollars. which is about 150 american, but willing to strecth to about 175-80. nice case indeed, but i think its pushing my limit a bit far. thanks anyways!
