PERC5/i RAID50?

I have a PERC5/i card with a 6TB (4TB usable) RAID5 array. The card supports five more drives. If I want more storage, in the future I could have 2x8TB (6TB usable) RAID5 configured in RAID50.

My question is: Does anyone else use RAID50, and if so, what are your experiences? Is it worth it to have "one big drive" with RAID50 or should I stick with 2x separate RAID5?
