Perc H700 Interrupts tinkering

Hi,

I just got a "new" H700 installed in a system im using, and are doing some testing on it right now, however i noticed that when anything reads from the drives it loads up alot more on a single core.

I can see that the megasas driver only accesses a single core via msix, not like HP420 which is also have which are able to spread interrupts accross all 8 cores.

I believe this is something that must be solveable, but im not able to get this thing running.

Tried updating kernel, firmware, manually forcing the driver to use 8 cores, and then its visible but its not utilizing them.

Is this controller/firmware related or is there something im missing?

could be coded into the driver to not use multiple cores, i would think there should be little to no CPU usage, hence the whole reason for getting a card like the H700 which offloads all the work onto it's self.
 
That really depends on the IO load, i dont have that fast a cpu and its clearly peaking a single core 100% before maxing out the raid in raw read performance.

It would be great if this could be "hacked" somehow.
