So, I have 8 drives hooked to a single Perc 5/i and set as individual RAID 0 arrays for use in FlexRAID.
About every day or so, one drive or another dislodges itself from the Perc 5/i and becomes a "foreign" configuration.
All I have to do is import it or clear the foreign drives and relocate it, and it works fine.
That's annoying enough, but every time it happens I have to recompute my parities on the FlexRAID pool, which takes 6 hours!!
I've checked the data and power cables, and everything seems fine. I can't see why a hardware issue would be occurring.
Is this just some problem with the Perc 5/i cards..?
