this game is supposed to be scarier than doom and fear...and i'm 5 minutes in and i agree. the game has this spooky atmosphere that really makes you feel like you're there, something that fear didn't quite capture and doom 3 didn't even care about. give the demo try!

just realized something. this isn't a demo. it's the full game but there are only like 2 levels so far. i think it's been developed by a community.

Was playing this yesterday. Pretty good (aside from the fact that it seems to be in 8-bit colour... ), but I lost interest after a while. Adventure / survival horror games have always pissed me off for exactly the same reason - there's just absolutely nothing enjoyable about running around half an hour looking for the item / door you're supposed to use next.

The physics is one of the best things this game has going for it - switching to the point-and-click interface and having to manually pull out drawers / open cupboards / push open doors really adds to the immersion.

Is there some kind of decent weapon around here somewhere? After repairing the key, opening the door and getting attacked by that flying sausage-monster, I blew through all my dynamite killing the thing, and very nearly took myself with it.

The game was made with no "weapons" really. I just held the shift key down and ran by the bastard and was never touched.

It was very good, very short, but well worth the download. Their specular lighting fix worked nicely for my X1800 card, and I look forward to any future work coming from them.

Fixed (I thought it was meant to be like that...). OpenGL textures need to be set to "High Quality" in Display Properties->Settings->Advanced->3D. Maybe the ATI fix had something to do with it as well... didn't try this until after I applied it.
