My laptop has been acting strangely. Getting extremely slow when having firefox and downloading something.. stuff like that. 100% CPU load while doing stuff that normally should put the CPU on 15-20% tops.
So I downloaded NHC and noticed that when vcore is dynamically set to 1.3 (which to my understand is pretty high) and x12 muliplier the frequency is only 800MHz.. shouldn't it run at 1.6GHz at that multiplier (P-M 1.6GHz)? Also, NHC reports the CPU temp is in excess of 90C while running an ftp client, winamp and firefox.. which to me seems totally out of place. Right now it's running @ 400MHz, which makes the computer slow down to a crawl.
Is the dynamic speed thing totally broken? I know this wasn't the case before. It's an Inspiron 6000.
